Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Spring Hill, FL to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and help train Store Associates.

Responsibilities include opening/closing tasks, enforcing policies, protecting assets, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for customers and staff. This role requires strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, records (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
