Job summary

The Maverik Inc. team in Utah is hiring a Store Team Member who thrives in fast-paced 24/7 environments. You’ll lead by example, help train teammates, and maintain safe, clean facilities while delivering outstanding customer service.

Expect flexible hours including nights and weekends. We offer competitive pay of $18.50–$20.50 per hour, plus a rich benefits package, profit sharing, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• 21+ age requirement.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• 1 year+ supervisory experience preferred.
• ServeSafe certification required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and oversee all tasks and duties required of Team Members.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and supervision of all Team members.
• Support facility safety inspections and equipment maintenance.
• Complete general reporting and bookkeeping responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
