We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading and inspiring the team, and ensuring an exceptional luxury client experience. The ideal candidate brings a true sense of ownership, taking accountability for the store’s environment, operational standards, and day-to-day execution, with a proactive, hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset. The Assistant Store Manager supports sales performance, client development, and team leadership while ensuring the highest standards of inventory management, store presentation, and operational excellence. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager assumes full responsibility for the store.

Responsibilities

• Support outreach initiatives and clienteling strategies to build, grow, and sustain a loyal customer base.
• Lead by example in cultivating authentic client relationships through personalized service and consistent follow-up.
• Support and encourage the team in adopting best practices in outreach, clienteling, and long-term relationship building.

Sales & Business Performance

• Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor daily performance and identify opportunities to maximize sales and client experience.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring an elevated and consistent level of service.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing store team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and inclusivity.
• Provide consistent coaching and feedback to elevate service standards and outreach effectiveness.
• Foster open communication within the team and across functions, promoting a culture of collaboration and shared accountability.
• Inspire the team to represent the brand with authenticity and deliver an unparalleled client experience.

Operations & Brand Standards

• Take hands-on ownership of daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure impeccable store presentation, cleanliness, and organization at all times, reflecting the highest brand standards.
• Take ownership of stockroom organization and inventory accuracy, including receiving, checking, labelling, tagging, storing, and processing merchandise.
• Maintain exceptional stockroom standards and take accountability for discrepancies, damages, or inventory inaccuracies.
• Support operational efficiency, cash handling, security, and loss prevention procedures.
• Handle escalated client inquiries and operational issues with discretion, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented approach.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or similar leadership role within luxury retail.
• Demonstrated ability to drive outreach and cultivate strong, long-term client relationships, consistent with company standards and brand perspective.
• Exceptional communication skills, both with clients and within the team, with a strong appreciation for cross-functional collaboration and the value of sharing feedback.
• Highly responsive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage challenges effectively and efficiently.
