Maverik in Rio Communities, NM is seeking an Assistant Manager (Operations) to help lead daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This full-time role involves coaching Team Members, driving across-the-board service standards, and ensuring food service and front-of-store activities run smoothly.

You'll be accountable for creating a welcoming environment, managing shift coverage, and supporting growth opportunities within the team.

Assistant Manager (Operations)

Starting pay: $17.95/hr - $19.95/hr. with both career and growth opportunities, plus eligibility for a bonus program!

Shift: This is a full-time opportunity. This position will be cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store.

• Food Safety Certification: Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
