SmartStop Self Storage is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Goleta, CA (Santa Barbara area) with no night shifts. The role covers leasing storage, supervising a team, on-site projects, maintenance, and tenant relations.

Hours: Mon–Fri 9:30am–6pm, Sat 9am–4pm, Sun 10am–2pm, starting at $24/hour plus bonus. Ideal candidates excel in customer service, communication, and teamwork, and can adapt to change while maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance.
• The position requires a background check.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Rent storage units.
• Prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property.
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers.
• Light maintenance.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services.
• Maintain general curb appeal.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.
