SmartStop Self Storage in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Store #4028 to oversee daily operations, lease storage and parking, supervise a small team, assist with maintenance, and maintain strong tenant relationships. The right candidate pays attention to detail, stays organized, and enjoys delivering excellent customer service while promoting our storage solutions.

Hours are Mon-Fri 9:30 am–6:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am–4:00 pm; Sun 10:00 am–2:00 pm; Starting wage is

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Clean vacated units and perform general cleaning.
• Promote and sell self-storage solutions.
• Light maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #4028 - Charlottesville, VA) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to detail, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:30 am to 6:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 4:00 pm; Sun 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Starting at $17.50/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Clean vacated units and perform general cleaning of the property
• Promote and sell self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
