Shoeteria in Riverside, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations. This role requires full-time availability including nights and weekends, with a compensation structure of base pay plus commissions.

You will supervise staff, manage shift coverage, process shipments, handle deposits, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining store standards. Prior retail experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior retail experience.
• Bi-Lingual is a plus.
• Must be able to climb a ladder.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train store personnel.
• Schedule shifts opposite the Store Manager.
• Open and close the store.
• Process merchandise shipments.
• Keep the store neat and clean at all times.
• Ring sales on cash register following agency guidelines.
• Greet customers and answer phones.
• Assist customers in finding items.
