Job summary

Shoeteria in Riverside, CA is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure outstanding customer service. This full-time role requires availability nights and weekends and offers base pay plus commissions.

You’ll manage openings and closings, process deposits, stock merchandise, train team members, and help drive sales while delivering friendly, practical support to customers.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of prior retail experience
• Must be able to climb a ladder
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Standing for long periods
• Bi-Lingual a plus
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Assistant Manager experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist training all store personnel
• Scheduled opposite shifts of the Store Manager
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned by the Store Manager
• Open and close the store
• Prepare bank deposits and drop at bank
• Buy change for store as needed
• Process merchandise shipments
• Keep store neat and clean at all times
• Ring sales on cash register agency guidelines
• Greet customers and answer phones
• Assist customers in finding items.
