We are hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead our Boston, Newbury team.
Our Retail team creates a transformative experience for each and every customer that visits any of our stores. We build connections through product education, world-class service standards, and operational excellence. We pride ourselves on owning the offline touchpoint for our brand and using it to foster a stronger Away community.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a widely celebrated brand that continues to innovate. We’re looking for candidates excited to provide best-in-class support to all customers from arrival to departure.

What You’ll Do As The Assistant Store Manager
  • Motivate your team to deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Embodies our brand standards and core values, reinforcing high expectations and accountability.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new hires to meet KPI and customer experience standards.
  • Coach and evaluate team members to foster professional growth.
  • Develop a team of retail associates into future leaders.
  • Lead store operations to meet financial goals and ensure compliance.
  • Achieve individual KPI and sales targets while supporting overall store success.
  • Utilize company tools to ensure business success and take responsibility proactively.
  • Partner with management on marketing events and store programming.
Who You Are
  • Experienced in customer service and retail management, preferably in a scaling company.
  • Detail-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A proven leader and collaborator with strong business acumen.
  • Skilled in coaching, developing, and aligning teams with company vision.
  • An effective communicator who provides constructive feedback.
  • Reliable, accountable, and results-driven.
  • Resourceful and solution-oriented, committed to follow-through.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
