Serv‑U‑Success is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the full-time day shift (6:00am – 2:00pm). Starting pay is $18.00 to $21.00 per hour based on experience, with weekday and weekend availability.

The role focuses on coaching and training others, serving as Manager on Duty in collaboration with the Store Manager, and ensuring proper staffing and prioritization. Responsibilities include merchandising, maintaining shelf availability, scheduling resources, and supporting backroom operations,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years in a service industry with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Open availability – able to work both weekdays and weekends as well as holidays.
• Strong merchandising and organizational skills.
• Read, understand, and follow all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Function as the “Manager on Duty” for the location, assuring proper staffing and prioritization of work needing completion.
• Demonstrate a high level of merchandising skills, across all categories, both shelf and off shelf displays.
• Maintain the presentation and on-shelf availability of dry grocery products.
• Ability to quickly assess store status, including shelf condition and signage, and deploy resources accordingly.
• Assist in scheduling resources to support daily requirements and stay within planned budgets.
• Help maintain a clean, orderly backroom and manage receipts, put-away and issue of products and materials.
