Family Dollar in Washington, LA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the store team.

You will assist with merchandise placement and stock control, oversee opening and closing procedures, supervise associates, manage scheduling, cash handling, loss prevention, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
