Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Store Operations & Performance: Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards; monitor sales activity and guide associates; assist with inventory control and shrink prevention; ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies.
• Team Leadership & Staffing: Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service; assist with hiring, recruiting, onboarding, and training; maintain staffing levels and provide coaching.
• Customer Experience & Compliance: Maintain a safe, organized store environment; reinforce adherence to policies; support merchandising, operational, and visual standards; perform other duties as needed.
