Job summary

Family Dollar in Goodman, MS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and support the Store Manager.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, processing directives, maintaining merchandize and displays, loss prevention, schedules and payroll records, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret operational directives.
• Prior store management experience in retail or grocery settings preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as needed.
• Assist with daily store activities and customer questions.
• Help organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Train and develop store associates and supervise staff.
