Niemann Foods is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Champaign, IL to support the Store Manager in daily operations, lead a team, and ensure outstanding customer service. You will oversee merchandising, inventory, and sales strategies while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to drive sales and customer satisfaction in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising store staff or equivalent leadership experience.
• Ability to meet sales targets and drive store profitability.
• Knowledge of merchandising and inventory management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• Wamiliarity with basic safety and store compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in absence of Store Manager.
• Supervise, train, and mentor store employees to maintain productivity and morale.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain attractive product displays and up-to-date promotional materials.
• Monitor sales trends and assist with strategies to meet targets and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with policies, health & safety regulations, and laws.
• Assist with inventory control and stock management to reduce shrinkage.
• Provide regular performance reports to Store Manager.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and recommend products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
