Family Dollar in Crystal Springs, MS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandising, opening and closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention to ensure smooth store performance.

The ideal candidate has retail or grocery management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a safe, welcoming store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Retail or store-management experience in retail, grocery, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits).
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures by all associates.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
