Comoto Holdings, owner of Cycle Gear, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to drive sales and lead a store team in delivering exceptional customer service. You will train staff, manage daily operations, and ensure the team stays knowledgeable about products and promotions.

The role emphasizes ownership of sales performance, teamwork, and a genuine passion for motorcycles, with a compensation structure that includes base pay plus uncapped commissions and incentive programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales management, product sales, and customer service experience, ideally in specialty retail.
• Experience with leading, coaching, mentoring, and/or teaching a team (retail or otherwise).
• Experience with computers (MS Excel) and POS systems (RetailPro).
• A self-starter mentality that consistently delivers an outstanding, personalized retail experience.
• Open mind and eagerness to learn and be part of the riding community.
• Motorcycle riding knowledge or interest strongly desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Share responsibility for managing the store’s team and the overall success of the store, including accountability for sales goals.
• Provide training, lead by example, and communicate sales goals to the team.
• Maintain product knowledge and educate customers on features and benefits.
• Assist with store operations including opening/closing, returns/store credit, special orders, and task delegation.
