Cavender’s is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Goodyear, AZ to support store operations and lead the team. You will coach associates, drive sales, and ensure the store runs smoothly. You’ll open and close the store, assist customers, train staff, and maintain a safe, organized environment while upholding company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to sell product and manage a retail store shifts effectively.
• Proven ability to drive results, develop talent, excel in customer service and make sound decisions.
• Ability to read, understand and apply basic instructions and documents.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cavender’s culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and values.
• Maintain active role in personal selling and meet or exceed sales per hour.
• Train all associate positions and supervise store operations.
• Act as Manager on Duty and assist in day-to-day management of the retail store.
• Open and close store, address customer needs, handle returns and assign staff tasks.
• Increase sales, maintain profit, and reduce controllable expenses using key metrics.
• Lead training of associates on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Ensure store is safe, secure, clean, organized and compliant with policies.
