Job summary

Dollar Tree in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the store team.

You will assist with merchandising, manage day-to-day tasks, supervise associates, handle opening/closing procedures, and ensure policy compliance while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets including store cash
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions with customers and staff
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal
