Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Higginsville, MO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will support the Store Manager in delivering financial results, Legendary Customer Experience, and daily store execution. The role leads across sales, service, opening/closing, front-end, and compliance, with opportunities to transition to Store Operations Manager in designated stores.

Strong retail leadership and a passion for farming and ranching help.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Education: High school diploma required; BA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead across sales, service, opening and closing routines and front-end execution.
• Support Store Manager in driving sales and profit and in daily store operations.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Experience and coach Team Members to follow policies and procedures.
• Perform duties such as cash handling oversight, inventory control, and loss prevention.
