Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will support day-to-day activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is well-organized and properly displayed.

You will help train Store Associates, monitor safety and policy compliance, and uphold a positive, efficient store environment. The role requires strong communication and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive manner
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Assist in supervising and training Store Associates
• Maintain clean, safe store environment and protect assets
