Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development in Dublin, Virginia. The role involves supervising store activities, assisting customers, organizing merchandise, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities include opening and closing duties, assisting in payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and maintaining clean, well-stocked sales floors and stockrooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and functions.
• Help customers in a friendly, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as required.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling while maintaining loss prevention.
