Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Greensboro, NC to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store functions and supervise store associates while maintaining a welcoming environment for customers.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, ability to handle merchandise and payroll tasks, and a commitment to safety and policy adherence. Part-time position with room to grow within the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash receipts.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect store assets including cash.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment.
• Keep bathrooms clean, restocked, and store neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
