Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team growth. You will help with opening/closing, merchandising, and maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and hands-on supervision of store associates to deliver excellent service and results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in organizing merchandise and maintaining seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional materials.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling payroll/scheduling tasks.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety throughout the store.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
