Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Baton Rouge. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and support the Store Manager in training and supervision of associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas and displays per company standards.
• Support payroll, scheduling, deposits, and loss prevention.
• Train and develop Store Associates.
