Job summary

Family Dollar in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development on a part-time basis. You will help with merchandising, quick response to customer questions, and maintaining clean, organized sales floors and stockrooms.

Responsibilities include assisting with opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, processing directives, and loss prevention while ensuring promotional displays remain effective and compliant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as listed in duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits/receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash, and adhere to all safety policies.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
