Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Biloxi, MS. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure safety and policy compliance.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner with questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and store communications.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom to company standards.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, and support loss prevention.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates with guidance from the Store Manager.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, professional environment for customers and staff.
