Job summary

The role requires 1-3 years of retail or customer service experience, with a focus on teamwork, attention to detail, and sales ability. This is a non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear/athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Capable of assisting in leading a team and meeting store goals.
• Self-starter with initiative to handle important tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Collaborate on action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Lead in the Store Manager's absence and support staff development.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory movement, sales trends, and expenses to maintain profitability.
• Ensure high-quality customer service as outlined in manuals and policies.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the store.
