Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering financial results and Legendary Customer Experience in a busy farm and ranch retail environment.

Ideal candidates will have prior retail leadership experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), and a valid driver’s license. You will help lead daily operations, sales, service, and team development in our store.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or the equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Uphold safety and productive work environment by policy adherence.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Experience and coach team members for execution.
• Assist Store Manager with store operations, driving sales and planning tasks.
• Support hiring efforts, training, and policy application.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and bank deposits.
