Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Assistant Manager for a specialty farm and ranch store. This role supports the Store Manager in achieving financial results, Legendary Customer Experience, and daily store execution.

You will lead sales, service, and operations, including opening/closing routines, front-end execution, and compliance, with potential progression to Store Operations Manager in designated stores. Strong leadership and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, with ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Uphold and promote a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution.
• Assist the Store Manager with overall store operations, including driving sales and profit, planning and prioritizing work, delegating daily tasks, and reviewing ACT missions.
• Support Customer loyalty, selling skills, monthly training, and a culture of product knowledge across the store.
