Price Rite in Pawtucket, RI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee store operations, staff development and asset protection. You will drive sales, monitor merchandising, payroll and compliance with policies and laws, while maintaining store conditions and customer service excellence.

The role requires leadership of 30-70 team members, supervision of daily activities, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards across departments, with focus on teamwork and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Two-plus years related management experience.
• Associate Degree preferred or equivalent of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Maintains Food Safety Certification.
• Regularly stand, walk, lift and move objects as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Manages, supervises and provides leadership to 30-70 team members in the store.
• Directs staffing, training and performance management of associates.
• Interviewing, hiring and training associates; planning, assigning and directing work.
• Maintain store conditions, sanitation and safety standards.
• Maximizes store sales and profitability.
