Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll & scheduling, cash deposits.
• Maintain well-stocked floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and supervise/store associates when needed.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean and presentable; manage bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
