Lids Sports Group in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, driving sales and delivering an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will act as Manager on duty, coach staff, manage scheduling, uphold Brand Standards, and ensure exceptional service while meeting KPIs. This role places you at the heart of a dynamic team at a flagship location in Albertville.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment and adhere to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates for peaks when needed.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safeguard inventory and cash.
• Open and close the store following Operations procedures.
• Support in inventory audits and maintaining store readiness.
• Maintain proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service and support loyalty programs.
