Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and handling payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and stockroom per company standards.
• Protect store assets including cash.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms, floors, and waste removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
