Job summary

Dollar Tree in Conway, AR is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, and train store associates to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
