Job summary

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and train a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor, maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, maintain displays, and support store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect assets, including store cash, and ensure policy compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restocked, and presentable; perform other duties as assigned.
