Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Holland, Michigan is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, merchandising, opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, well-stocked store and providing memorable customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and develop store associates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in retail operations and merchandising.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lift up to 55 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas to company standards including stockroom and sales floor.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties; assist loss prevention.
• Coach Store Associates and support a positive, safe work environment.
