Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Wisconsin to support the Store Manager in daily operations, supervise staff, oversee production and sales, and ensure store safety and appearance. You will participate in banking/record-keeping, drive customer development, and uphold The Salvation Army's mission while maintaining budgetary awareness and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of retail experience (thrift experience a plus).
• Valid driver's license and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and staff supervision.
• Meet production and sales goals through strategies.
• Oversee store maintenance, safety and cleanliness.
• Manage banking and record-keeping procedures.
• Protect assets and prevent shrinkage through controls.
• Support customer development and create a welcoming shopping experience.
