Job summary

Self Storage Plus is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily operations at our Virginia locations. You will assist with leasing, maintenance, customer relations, and financial reporting to ensure smooth, secure, and customer-friendly service.

The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to multitask, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time, on-site position offering paid time off and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of property operations, including leasing, customer relations, rent collection, and financial reporting
• Maintaining the property through regular maintenance checks, conducting daily property walks to ensure that safety and security requirements are met, making minor repairs as needed
• Upholding cleanliness standards throughout the property, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning out storage units, and other cleaning responsibilities as needed
• Responding to customer inquiries, understanding and presenting amenities through tours of property and explaining terms of occupancy/leasing agreements
• Respond to customer complaints and emergencies promptly and professionally
• Follow company policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure a positive tenant experience
