Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead the sales team, mentor staff, and help open/close the store while ensuring excellent customer service and store presentation.

You will participate in hiring, training, and coaching, coordinate deposits, and manage daily operations to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. This role offers growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and have transportation to take deposits to the bank.
• Willing to open/close the store and be comfortable working alone at times.
• Strong ability to teach others and develop a sales team.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through shopping experience.
• Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories; handle ring ups and discounts.
• Assist Store Manager with recruiting, hiring, and training the sales team.
• Coach and discipline the team to deliver strong customer experiences.
• Lead the team to ensure top customer service and store presentation.
• Prepare deposits and handle freight and shelf setup.
