Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. is seeking an energetic assistant manager to join our sales team. This entry-level part-time role combines customer service, sales, and people leadership to support daily store operations.

You will train peers, greet customers, manage deposits, and help open/close the store as needed while building a pathway to future growth within the company. The role offers flexible scheduling and potential for more responsibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
• Willing to learn how to teach others and become a people manager.
• Able to open/close the store and work alone at times.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through shopping.
• Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales, take cash, and run credit cards.
• Help restock the sales floor and keep it neat.
• Teach others how to do the above and lead the team when on duty.
• Make deposits at the bank and process freight as it arrives.
