Job summary

Norman’s Gift Shops, Inc. in Richland Marketplace, Quakertown PA, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and lead a team with a caring, customer-focused approach.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of retail supervisory and customer service experience, with flexibility to work events, holidays, evenings, and weekends. Strong leadership and familiarity with POS systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or higher is required.
• Retail supervisory experience: 1 year or more.
• Customer service experience: 1 year or more.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to stand/walk; lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into the store culture to drive sales and build relationships.
• Assume leadership when needed; ensure professional, unbiased management style.
• Assist Store Manager with operations, events, shipments, merchandising, and promotions.
• Assist in developing and training staff on products and processes.
• Learn and efficiently use the POS system to ensure accurate inventory, sales, and markdowns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
