Job summary

Journeys in Anderson, SC is seeking a candidate to assist Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, hiring, training and supervising store personnel to achieve sales goals, control expenses and protect company assets.

This role requires meeting and exceeding sales targets, helping recruit and train staff, enforcing company policies, delivering a fun, full-service customer experience, and preparing for Co-Manager-level duties with a 45-hour work week including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of high caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team; provide feedback and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in the absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of Loss Prevention practices in the absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Effectively communicate store needs to Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Resolve customer issues effectively and provide a fun, full-service experience.
