Job summary

Journeys Kidz in Mobile, AL is seeking a Store Coordinator to assist the Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, hiring, training, and managing store personnel to achieve sales goals and protect company assets.

You will lead a sales team, provide coaching, enforce policies, and ensure daily operations with a focus on loss prevention. Must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and willing to work nights and weekends.

• Willingness to complete training leading to Co-Manager or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of employees
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff while enforcing policies and practices
• Ensure company initiatives are implemented and aligned with direction
• Supervise store operations in absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training
• Oversee loss prevention practices in absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training
• Communicate store needs to management
• Resolve customer issues effectively
• Provide a fun, full-service experience to customers
• Understand Journeys culture and model it for the team
• Maintain excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Commit to 45 hours per week including night and weekend shifts
• Be willing to learn and complete training programs leading to Co-Manager
