Johnny’s is a fun, friendly place to work and shop, and as Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play an important role in keeping it that way. Your support will help every part of your store run smoothly throughout your shift, especially when it comes to taking good care of Johnny’s customers.

You’ll also be in charge during second and third shifts and whenever the Store Manager is away, helping your store stay clean, stocked, safe, and looking great morning, noon, and night.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with employees, customers, and vendors.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to multi-task daily.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for work tasks.
• College degree or two years related experience, or the equivalent.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and email.
• Willingness to work any area of the store and operate a register.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 10 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Set the store’s customer service bar and ensure friendly, efficient service.
• Provide guidance to keep the team and store looking their best.
• Handle HR duties including training, scheduling, and supervision.
• Follow goals to maximize sales while controlling expenses.
• Partner with suppliers, vendors professionally.
• Address complaints promptly to keep customers happy.
• Manage store bookwork and share documents with home office.
