Job summary

Dry Goods, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the store manager in motivating associates to deliver exceptional customer service and help customers create their own personal style.

You will share product knowledge, maintain a clean, exciting store, and help drive sales and store performance. You will train, coach, and lead the team, develop relationships to grow the business, and ensure operations run smoothly while covering day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or assistant manager roles.
• Ability to motivate teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Strong relationship-building and product knowledge.
• Comfort with handling store operations and goals.

Responsibilities

• Motivate associates to deliver outstanding customer service – train, coach and lead by example
• Develop relationships to grow store business
• Execute all duties of a sales associate and achieve individual sales and account goals
• Assess associate performance to improve the quality of service the customer receives, increase sales, and meet store goals
• Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and store needs
• Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts
