Job summary

Family Dollar in Prescott Valley, Arizona is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help drive daily performance and ensure a welcoming, clean, and safe shopping environment.

You will assist with opening and closing procedures, organize merchandise flows, supervise associates, process directives, and uphold store standards while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain storefront fixtures and displays; ensure store standards.
