Job summary

Edwin Watts Golf in Florida seeks an Assistant Manager to lead store operations in line with Worldwide Golf values and the 'Sure No Problem' customer-first philosophy. You will assist the Store Manager, coach staff, and help create a positive golf-store experience for every guest.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, merchandising to brand standards, controlling shrink and expenses, and building community relationships to drive growth. This is a full-time position with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience or golf-industry leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of golf products and customer education.
• Proficient with POS, inventory/ordering systems and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Promote a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf values and the 'Sure No Problem' philosophy.
• Execute day-to-day plans from the Store Manager and share ownership of the store experience.
• Maintain product knowledge, control shrink and expenses, and ensure shelves meet brand standards.
• Lead visual merchandising, schedule staff, and respond to customer feedback to coach the team.
• Build local community presence and partnerships to grow business.

We’ve been in business over 50 years and we are growing!Worldwide Golf is one of the largest golf retailers in the world, giving you more opportunities for growth and mobility.Job Description:The Assistant Manager at Edwin Watts Golf is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy, which has made Worldwide Golf what it is today. \"Sure No Problem\" means putting the customer first, and doing whatever we can to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.The Assistant Manager executes the day-to-day plans and strategies developed by the Store Manager. The Assistant Manager also has shared ownership for creating a positive golf store experience. Responsibilities Include:Maintain strong knowledge of all golf products and ensure that employees can educate customers on all golf products and offerings.Control shrink and expenses while ensuring the sales floor is adequately stocked & signed, and golf products & merchandise are displayed to brand presentation.Ensure execution of all visual merchandising programs, modules, and direction while implementing floor moves, merchandising and display maintenance.Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management, meetings, store walk-throughs and audits, etc.Monitor company communication tools daily and adjust schedule to execute workload as needed.Become a Edwin Watts Golf brand ambassador in the local community, making key external relationships and partnerships in the golf industry.Appropriately respond to any negative customer experience by de-escalating the situation and making things right for the customer.
