Job summary

Dollar Tree in Miami is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will work with the Store Manager to supervise staff and ensure a positive shopping environment.

This role requires a high school diploma, store management experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. You will help maintain displays, process directives, and uphold safety policies while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, deposits, and loss prevention.
• Keep the store areas well-stocked and organized on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
