Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. The role supports the Store Manager in supervising staff, merchandising, and daily deposits while protecting assets and reducing losses.

You will handle stocking, cashier operations, scheduling, and training to ensure excellent service and accurate inventory. This position offers opportunities for growth within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to lead a team.
• Ability to perform cash handling and operate the cash register.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, restocking and displaying.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages and deposits.
• Support planograms and store presentation as directed.
• Ensure cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Assist in store leadership in the Store Manager's absence.
