Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as described

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for store-fronts
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record keeping, and loss prevention
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure store associates follow policies
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
